Good esc

The new version seems to be a little bigger then the old version but it works well. I use these to run n20 motors in 1lb combat robots. I do prefer the smaller version because of that application as it saves on weight and space but they both with well.
didnt use it but have next lower model of this and it works great

Used it in a DF Robot tank chassis. Plugged it in and it works. cleared away some of the heat shrink from the transistors and used thermal compound to use the chassis as a heat sink. Didn't get that hot in my application so I probably went overboard.
Works great

I had a good experience with this ESC. Ideally if you want it for small project.
The output voltage for Receiver is 5.0v and for the power output is around 8V. I have not measured the current but be careful with the motor you use with this because if it goes short is going to overheat the circuit a bit, besides that, so far I have not had any issues.

Worked to control my Roomba via an Airplane/Helicopter RC Controller

I converted my roomba to be remote controlled, for nefarious purposes. Roombas use differential steering - like a tank. This ESC was a perfect fit to control the Roomba wheels to go in every direction without having to get too crazy with settings on my radio. You just hook up the "throttle" to the main input and "steering" (in my case - ailerons) to the yellow single wire, and the ESC does all the mixing for you. Amazon Prime next day shipping made this product a no-brainer for me and my project.
