I haven't had it long. This was a slight struggle to put on but it fits perfectly. It covers up the peeling & discoloration on my steering wheel. My wheel isn't too cold when I go to touch it. I wouldn't call it soft but it is textured so it feels like I have a good grip on the wheel. It won't slip in sweaty hands this summer and should protect the steering wheel from much more deterioration. Hopefully it will protect from the scorching summers too.

Received this on a very cold day in Michigan -- let it warm up in the house overnight then put inside my coat while I drove doing errands. Because I warmed it up even on this cold day --- I installed this very easily once I parked the car. When I came back to the car it was wonderful to be able to grab the wheel without freezing my hands. I don't like wearing gloves or mittens when driving so this is wonderful. The wheel in warmer instead of freezing my hands. I'm sure it will be just as comfortable next summer when it keeps me from scalding my hands.

I was looking for a memory foam steering wheel cover. I thought this was it. It fits well but is definitely not memory foam. It is knobby feeling. I do not care for the way it feels on my hands.
On the plus side, if you live somewhere that gets hot in the summer and want a cover that does not get hot, this is it. Works like an oven mitt.
