I remember eating Frango mints as a child as a real treat when my mom persuaded my dad to get them. That was back in the old "Frederick and Nelson" days in Washington state. These are the same mints. One doesn't chew them, but let them melt in your mouth. The chocolate is infused with peppermint, and the melting taste sensation is incredible.

Very, very expensive but as delicious as I remember them as a child in Seattle. Nostalgic.

This is the best chocolate I have ever had. I am not an expert on chocolate but since I purchased my first box ten years ago, I sometimes purchase two three boxes for gifts for holidays it is by far the best. I love mint chocolate. It melts in your mouth.

No different in taste and texture from much lower priced milk chocolates I've had, and two pieces were misshapen and discolored. I've always loved the dark chocolate Frango mints and was eager to try the milk chocolate ones as well as the raspberry chocolates I ordered too. Neither of the latter two came close to meeting expectations: Seemed quite dry and stale with no clean "snap" differentiating the outer coating from the filling. The dark chocolate Frango mint came separately today and they are wonderful!! Exactly what I expected and ones I would order again. Really emphasized the serious difference in quality between that order and the milk chocolate and raspberry chocolate orders!

Macys sells a 1# box of Frangos for the same price that the seller sold a 5.5 oz box. It's overpriced
