If it wasn't for YouTube I don't think I would have been able to correctly install this. It's simple, but knowing without any prior knowledge makes it a little difficult. The tank for the diesel heater is also inconvenient with its odd shape and size. It's hard to put it anywhere discrete. But overall it puts out enough heat to sweat you out and it's a pretty nice piece of equipment

Its only been a week but this thing is heating a 36.5 ft. fifthwheel at night with no issue. I use a Cubic Grizzly when awake and this heater through the night. Mine is very quiet with just a hint of noise from the fuel pump and fan. I installed the unit under the stairs wich gave great access for the exhaust pipe, intake air, and close to 12/120v breaker panel. So far at about 32-40 degrees F outside, I have used around 1 gallon of fuel in 2 days. I leave the unit on 1 but have ramped it up when starting and first thing in the morning. I now have 4 different sources of heat for my rig but if you're gonna stay in cold country you better be prepared. Bring it on winter!

Not 8kw, more like 4kw (same heat output as the 4kw 24v one I use in the garage). But, everything works as it should and was pleasantly surprised that it restarts itself until the pump/unit self primes.
Don't use the stock cheapo tank. Get a steel tank. I used one for a generator (5-7gals) and mounted it flat in a storage compartment. Also, get a proper bulkhead fitting for eberspachers, costs half what this heater costs, but is VERY well made and much safer and easier install than the thin, flat plates that come with these.
Overall, the unit is great, no issues so far.

The 2kw is more than enough heat for a small space

Several online reviews have stated correctly that the 5kw and 8kw Chinese diesel heaters are the exact same unit and there's no reason to spend more on the 8kw version. But in our short six window Skoolie bus I decided to give the 2kw version a try and I am happy to report that it heats the space amazingly. The install was relatively straight-forward. We even went a little fancy using a marine exhaust port to route the exhaust outside the bus body instead of simply venting it under the bus. It looks great, it is quiet, it produces a dry heat which is a nice change from the moisture leftover from our old Buddy Heater. Overall, five stars!!
I also highly recommend the Vevor brand. I have purchased other products from this brand whose quality was superb and I am once again impressed.
