2nd Pro Controller shell I've purchased from eXtreme Rate. Build quality has gotten even better since then. The shell is painted, but its soft touch as well as durable. Not sure how well it will hold up to skin oils and time, but solid paint job on it.

Love this cover, the purple color is very true to the picture and it's so soft! I also purchased the white buttons/triggers and joysticks to go along with the purple shell. The instructional videos and steps are extremely easy to follow, altogether the shell and buttons probably took me about an hour to do. Would definitely recommend!

Ok"¦. So before you try to assemble this yourself, look up the "how to" video on YouTube. Here's the key: when you get to the part with the "ribbon", the little black plastic piece will flip up and towards you. It is a clamp. Take some tweezers and get BEHIND the black plastic part but IN FRONT of the ribbon, and flick it up/towards you. The clamp will release and the ribbon will slide out.
