I use it for putting around the litter boxes (my cat has IBD - so frequent bowel movements & not always in the box & sometimes lately she urinates over the lid of the box). Features indicate it's water resistant. I have found it's very impressive in that respect. I fold one bed pad in half. Then I fold a 2nd bed pad in half. I put the 2 halves on top of each other. My cat has defecated & urinated on the bed pads. They have yet to soak thru to the bottom of the 1st one. I also use them in the car to protect the carpet. On my 3rd order.

Being a disabled person, I have to use a urinal in bed at night. We always protect the bed with Chux pads in case of any spillage. This brand is noticeably more absorbent, and resistant to liquid penetrating the back layer than the other brands in the same price bracket, of which there are several. At the moment these are about $1 more for a pack of 100, but the difference is definitely worth the extra 1¢ per pad.
