For what this is, a child's toy, it's fun. My 6 year old was able to do the stamps herself. She doesn't get it positioned quite right so sometimes only part of her nail gets stamped (see the pic of the one that hasn't wiped off yet) but she doesn't care. It's cute and it's fun. The biggest drawback is that even with 2 coats of the clear top coat, the polish starts coming off same day. These pics are just under 24 hours after application. The first time we did my nails too. I was able to get good placement for the stamp to cover my entire nail (mostly because I'm not 6), and it lasted a smidge longer on me than on her, but still day 2 it was all coming off. That said, it's a kids toy and she cares more about having fun with it than a long lasting manicure, so it's still a win.
One last comment, the stamps are basically like a cassette tape. Sometimes too much of the tape can get pulled out (probably because she olds it down for too long and it sticks a little), so when that happens we just use a pencil to wind it tight again, like an old cassette.

I got this for my 7 yr old daughter and she loves it. It's super easy to use and they polish usually wears off within a couple days. She's also to use it by herself without supervision of an adult
