We just bought our 4th of these!

There is a knack to putting them together, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty quick and easy. After fitting the bottom hook of one of the side rods into place, I put my hand on the top hook (using the surface between my thumb and forefinger/ball of my thumb) and use my bodyweight to bend it slightly until it can snap into place on the top. There are videos that can help you. I'm not great with my hands, but even I have no trouble putting these together and taking them down. They also pack small and light. We have a tent with a lot of headroom (Nemo Aurora Highrise 6P), but we've used them in a Marmot Tungsten 4P where there isn't a ton of headroom and they fit fine. There's not a ton of room underneath but there's enough to hold shoes, stuff sacks, and a variety of items that are nice to have out of the way. Dear hubby didn't like cots, but after a trip where the ground was sloped enough that he was sliding but the cots were keeping the rest of us secure, he changed his mind and agreed to have one of these for himself. He's about 5'11" and 225 and although it packs small and lightweight, the cot seems to hold him just fine. The kids (who use the Marmot) are in their 20s and able to trek farther and sleep rougher than us older folks. They're using these with plain old Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest classic pads. They've said their sleep is plenty comfortable. My husband and I are in our 60s and don't like to travel far from the car to the tent. ;-) We have Lost Horizon 4.5 inch Airsoft pads on top of these. I'm not sure it's actually "glamping" but it must be close. I've slept very comfortably indeed.

It comes as advertised and is absolutely great for the price. Very easy to assemble and goes back into the travel case with ease. Also very durable
Takes a couple repetitions to master the setup

When I was first setting it up I thought I was going to break the legs, they bend. But after setting it up on multiple occasions they've proven to be sturdy. It takes about 5 minutes to setup as opposed to a full sized cot, but in exchange you can fit this in a backpack. The one thing I do not like which is where the head is supposed to go it dips. So I flip it around and put my head where the feet go so my head doesn't sink. But it's still comfy to sleep on. Slept on it for 4 days on a camping and felt great every day. Roughly 140 lbs at 5'5".
Compact and comfortable

I'm a middle aged side sleeper and I wanted a sleep system that was as comfortable as an air mattress, but without the leaks. This cot has about as much give as an exercise trampoline, so there are no hard spots to make you sore. If you want the princess and the pea treatment, add even a minimal foam pad and it's amazing.

My main mistake was breaking this out while camping with Cub Scouts because the need for adult supervision forced me to wake up early and abandon my super comfortable bed.
Lightweight and easy to put together

Easy to put together, I had it assembled in less than 10 mins very first time. Will be even easier next time as I realized I should have stood the cot on its side for better leverage to attach the ribs. (Rather than laying cot flat on the ground to do this.)
