Not for black out curtains

They're very pretty and look great up but the L hook holders thing is VERY long so the curtain does not touch the wall. It's fine for decor purposes but not for blocking out light.
Look nice

We wanted a nice rod that wouldn't detract from the curtains, nothing too ornate. These were perfect in our living and dining rooms.
High quality and easy to use

It's very nice looking but I wish it were a little sturdier.
Space Conscious, Sturdy, Stylish

We purchased these to hang in a tight space, in between a fireplace and a wall, for tall, narrow windows that needed curtains for privacy. The metal is definitely oil-rubbed bronze (versus just a solid bronze), which is the look that we wanted, with the copper accents shining through just the right amount. They are very sturdy and were easy to install. I like their more modern look too.
