I bought it for a rollator but am using on a folding shopping cart.
Works fine - once you learn how it works. Directions? Poor.
If you lack strength in your hands, you probably need help attaching this to your rollator or cart ( or bike bar). The strap that wraps around and base have a "button" that has to go through the "hole." But the hole has to be s t r e t c h e d over that hole. Good luck! I had to keep trying and eventually got it-- and my hands, fingers and wrists are strong. It is a very tight fit!
The second issue: The cup holder base goes flat easily.
But the higher bracket (U-shaped), you "squeeze" to slide it up or down to match cup size.
Then to fold flat, fold bottom up, and top bracket, at highest height, will then fold down around the folded bottom.
Honestly? I don't mess with making it flat. By the time my cart is flat in my vehicle, the holder sticking up isn't a big deal to me.

We bought this to allow my wife who was recovering from hip replacement surgery to easily tote her water tumbler on her walker. Turned out to not work well on a horizontal bar. Later, we tried it on a beach umbrella and it worked so well, we bought another one.
