As they are stainless and sturdy, I use these in food prep in association with a milligram scale for powders like sucralose. It's not really possible to get an accurate measurement with them because there is no leveling possibility, but it still gets me close. With one application, I aim for an ideal of 400 mg and it eyeing it will get me between 350 and 420.
They are also pointed enough that I can push the spoon back down into the powder without compressing it, therefore saving me the step of identifying the right spoon or washing it afterward. It stays in the container.
