Product arrived clean and well packaged (this is nearly an "act of God" if you read reviews for other oil companies. Usually you get damaged, leaking products). Pouring this oil into a manageable jar, I couldn't help notice how clean and bright the oil is...a delight for the eyes. The flavor of the raw oil is clean and bright, with warming overtones. A very delicious oil. Frankly, not the best oil for cooking for cooking...it tends to leave a gummy residue that takes some real scrubbing to get off the pans. I contacted the seller about this issue, and this is where the real 5-star review comes from...
I wrote the seller regarding my concerns. I quickly got an email back from the owner of the company asking me to give her a call. She and her husband, Francoise, took considerable time with me explaining their process, the purity of their product, and answering to my concerns (turns out the high amino acid content of the cold pressed version of their oil lends itself to being a finishing oil and is better used raw...for cooking, you want the second extraction oil). So what really made this product shine was truly the customer service!
Considering the care and and attention they had for me and my concerns, I'm absolutely confident they attend to their products with the same devotion. That convinced me this is the absolutely best grape seed oil on the market. Great products come from great people, and Nanette and her husband truly showed me that they have their heart and soul and passion in their company. They earned an absolute top 5-star review...and they got a customer for life!!!

Some grapeseed oil may just be usable externally, but this is meant for cooking also. The flavor is very mild, so it does NOT add an unwanted flavor to foods.
