Speedy and Dangerous, Had to File Down Burs on Soleplate First

This unit appears to be manufactured in China, and sold under a variety of names, so I looked for the cheapest one. Happy with the quality, though mine arrived with some metal "burs" on the sole-plate that I had to file down to prevent friction/scratching when moving over a table. I've just begun using it, so cannot speak to its durability or longevity (I'll update if necessary).
Some points:
- Initially, I thought the weight would be an issue, but the weight is irrelevant, since you push it along with its sole-plate resting on the table surface!
-The blade is quite exposed, so use with EXTREME CAUTION!
-The on-off "button" is on the underside, and while convenient for use, makes if VERY easy to accidentally turn unit on if set down.
-Always, ALWAYSSS unplug the unit when not in use because of the above-mentioned issue.
-Make sure you get the foot under the bottom-most layer of fabric when cutting.
-cuts curves fairly well above a certain radius.
-Shop around for blades. I saw some listed her for $40, which is a JOKE!
-I kid you not: watch your fingers!!!

I use this to cut cardboard boxes and card stock stacks. It's just wonderful! Glides right through it! The stacks don't have to be perfect so I don't care that it's at a little angle. Other than that definitely worth my money!

The only complaint I personally have is a lack of a lockout switch. It is an easy fix to put one in, the Placement of the switch makes it to easy to turn on accidentally.
