great for plastic or softer materials, not sure about harder metals.

The handles are of middling quality and to be expected for this price range. Effective for shaping softer materials like plastic, but would not expect much utility for anything harder than cast aluminum at best.

Giving these files 4 rather than 3 stars because you really get what you pay for. These files are ok but they don't really have much bite to them. They felt to me more like the fingernail file that comes on nail clippers. If you are looking to finish 3D printed parts they will probably work just fine. If you're hoping to use them on wood you may be disappointed.

These work well and there's a nice variety of shapes. They are very small and it can be hard to hold onto the hand with the handle being so small. I use them on wood and the work well for that. I haven't tried them on metals so I can't speak to the durability with them for that.

Multiple files with a fine tip, that can be held like a screwdriver. The price was fair for the product, and I will find many other uses than just a file. I do various crafts that require different tools, most wouldn't think of using a 'man's' item. I use many of my husbands hand tools for my projects.

Work well so far. They have good hardness and sharpness. Most I've used so far are double cut. Handles are a little on the cheap side, but they work fine. Plastic roll sleeve they come in is as cheap as it comes, but I wasn't planning on using that as a permanent storage solution anyway. Ultimately I would buy these again.
