Fantastic Whistle!

I've had a hard time buying a kettle that actually whistles loud enough the hear! I can hear this kettle 3 rooms away! It's sturdy and boils water quickly.
Very nice tea kettle! Package should have been protected with better shipping materials.

Beautiful copper tone tea kettle looks great with my kitchen decor. The item came very fast. I only wish that the seller had wrapped the package/box in brown wrapping paper or something to hide the contents of the box. The item was shipped as if I had just grabbed it off of a store shelf, no wrapping around the box whatsoever. More thought should have been considered when shipping. The carton could have gotten damaged or crushed and then the kettle would have had a very ugly dent in it. Luckily this did not happen. Other than that, the kettle is beautiful, easy to use.
Nice Whistle

This tea kettle is shiny and the color is soft and pretty. It seems to warm up water quickly and the whistle is clean, clear and loud. Not sure how it will hold up over time, so reserved a star for that reason. I searched a long time for this teapot and so far, after only 3-4 uses, have no complaints.
Beautiful and functional

The color of this tea kettle is perfect for my kitchen. It's kind of a rosy copper (doesn't mimic real copper pots). The handle stays perfectly cool. It might be that other reviewers had the kettle on burners that were too big or the flame (on a gas stove) that curled up around the bottom of the kettle, but in any case, I've used the kettle every day for several weeks, and the handle is always cool.
The only thing that could be better is that the spring mechanism for opening the spout has a lot of tension in it, so when the lid springs up, it splatters a bit of boiling water out. I've learned to keep my thumb on the "open" button to ease the springing, but it's a little annoying. Not bad, though.

Love my whistling teapot

The inside of this is shiny clean sparkling aluminum, and as soon as I turn the gas on, the teapot begins to make comforting bubbly sounds. I don't know quite what they are, but I like it. This replaced a six year old teapot by the same company which had developed rusty nastiness inside, which I could not remove no matter what potion I tried. Bought this, and the five gallon purified water I get at my local markets tastes better than ever in my morning coffee. Don't know how long it will take to develop nasty crusts inside, but I will keep my eye on it.
