I added playing the violin to my bucket list. I have always loved the violin and now in my golden years, divided to learn to play one. I play other instrument, including a guitar. They have frets which makes it easy to place fingers. The violin does not have frets so it is difficult to know where finger placement should be. This finger guide is a huge help for me. I'm so happy to have found them. I followed the video to put it on the violin. I highly recommend them for beginners.

Got one for my daughter who is in her first year of playing (for her new violin), it installed super easy. Notes are definitely in the right spots. Easy peasy. Long story short I had bought a second violin and decided to learn on that one. Bought a second one, for me. That one went on with far more drama, air bubble city. I pulled it off and tried again, there are so e wrinkles where I had to lift it, but it is good now.
All in all, I would strongly suggest this to anyone starting out.

I had no problem at all applying the sticker under the strings.. no bubbles underneath. Took less than a minute to get it straight and stick it down. And now I know exactly where to put my fingers. Super helpful for a beginner! Definitely recommend

I recently bought a used violin which came with finger tapes installed on it. Things sounded off, and when I checked with a tuner I realized the spacing on the tapes was not correct. Instead of putting new tape down, I decided to give this a try.
It was easy to install, just butt it up against the nut and you are lined up. The notes produced match up with the printing. So all good.
The design itself is a little "busy" so finding the right spot is a little more challenging than simple taped lines, but with practice it gets easier. And the added benefit of being able to see what the note being produced is outweighs the added complexity.
