I used these with some previously owned marble run tracks to build a course and the marbles were getting stuck and I had to push them along the track sometimes. However it does have some cool additions to the marble run stuff and does include marbles, which was nice!

I bought this for my son since he loves dinosaurs and has been watching marble runs on YouTube. However, I didn't realize this is an expansion kit, not a complete kit. Completely my fault for overlooking that - but it make it very difficult to make any sort of course. You certainly can make a track but not easily. This would be great as an expansion pack though - just make sure you read that partt

Bought this, along with the Starter Set, the Super Set, and several sets of accessories, for myself. Yes, I'm an adult. Yes, this thing is fun! Everything in this booster set works as described, except sometimes the tracks with the rails can be finicky. Occasionally a marble will get stuck or will fall off. The other pieces work great. I actually went back and ordered a second booster set in order to get two more of the "splitters". They come in very handy. The spinning wheels and the jump piece are particularly fun.
