I needed a lap desk with plenty of space, as I like to have room to do things and regularly use my laptop and iPad at the same time for school! Plenty of space for a lap desk! I bought the laptop table after foot surgery when I couldn't get out of bed for 2 months. This was SO helpful! I did all of my computer work every day, and when I finished, I just folded it up and placed it next to my bed. The surface is not too slippery, and my laptop is lightweight, so I don't need the stopper. My mouse never rolls off the edge; it always stays where it should. I do wish the accessory drawer was a little wider so that I could put my mouse in it for storage. Otherwise, I love this!
