We purchased for our new golf cart. Most people don't know but most golf carts can be used with the same key. They don't usually have a independent key system. Travelled 3,000 miles in an F150 hauling a 12x6 haul trailer from Toronto to LA and was advised to secure the trailer during overnight stopovers. I bought 2 and put one on each side and although I will never know if it acted as a deterrent, it certainly looked and felt secure.
I want to add that the product will not fit on the wheels of an F150 as the tires are too wide. Make sure you check the size of your wheels and tires if you want to use for your vehicle as opposed to a trailer etc.
