Unbelievably easy to use. I am an well experienced diy guy and have soldered plenty of copper pipe. But am getting more comfortable using these push to connect (example sharkbite) fittings.
In particular I have decided one should always have a stop and a coupler of 1/2 and 3/4 on hand for quick easy fixes.
Actually in this case my pipe was cut during renovations. Two minutes or less i had cut the pipe and popped on this stop - allowing me to carry on. Can come back to full repair later.

It stopped the water flow of a backflowing pipe, I had cut off, and it doesn't leak, even weeks after being put onto the pipe end, as expected! These two little fittings are of an excellent value.
