So I got the cartridge and put it right in my modified gameboy original dmg and it started up and said loading, but never loaded, then I realized that you have to have firmware on your micro sd card for this to work so I went and downloaded those and put my game rom backups on the card, .gb and .gbc. Started up the cartridge again and was good to go! I have noticed this drive's interface / menu speed is not as clean nor as fast as everdrive however everdrive does not seem to work with my modified gameboy as the everdrive seems to pull too much power and never load (not a prob on my modified gba, but the original gb can't handle it). So overall so happy this worked, it could be better but really overall happy I have a solution! Also to note, it did not come with the microSD card reader, not that I absolutely needed it but, it shows it in the picture you would expect it to come with it.

If you are looking at getting this for an Analogue Pocket, this will not run in it's current state. Trying to run it will give an SD card initialize error. You can get the unreleased firmware 5 and update it which will allow you to use it on the Pocket, but you will not be able to run the update unless you have an original Gameboy to boot it up on. After the FW5 update, it's been running perfectly on both my Gameboy SP and Analogue Pocket.

If you are using a pre-GameBoy Color (like the DMG/original, GBPocket, or the Super Game Boy (SNES cart) you may need to press the button twice by lightly sqeezing the cart. This will take it out of 'color' mode.

When I say it works on all GameBoy platforms I am not including the GBMicro or the first couple of NDSs as those are not compatible with any non-GBA cart or software.

Initially Seller sent me the wrong device [They sent the Omega, but I needed Junior Flash for Gameboy Classic]. They shipped me the right device and included a return shipping envelope and the Junior Flash does everything I need to Run LittleSoundDJ and backup my Song Data.
Just ordered a 2nd one.

I haven't had any luck getting new batteries into my old games, so I got the EZ Flash Jr and dumped my games on it so I could still enjoy playing them on my GBC. I'm writing this review a few months after buying it and I still haven't run into any issues. It seems easy enough to replace the battery if needed as well.
