I bought this to be my personal item for flying as well as my day to day bag, and it works great to fit my 17" laptop and iPad. However, some of the stitching on the bottom has started to break, so I'll need to replace it after only 8ish months. I also don't know if it was how it was shipped or packaged, but it does not stand up on the feet no matter how empty it is.

This bag is very good quality! The amount of compliments I have gotten at work plus the only reason I discovered this bag was from a friend because when I would go into her office I always complimented her bag till I finally asked where she got it from! Now the only thing is after awhile the gold buckle will get scratched up but not to noticeable unless if you are just looking at it up close! Highly recommend in getting and plan on getting the other colors! 😀

I was looking for a laptop bag I could take to interviews and business meetings. This bag met all my expectations. It is high quality and very beautiful in person. I have gotten so many compliments on it.

I am giving this five stars because it is beautiful, looks very well-made and durable, and is everything the listing said it was. I purchased this in hopes to combine the two bags I carry on a daily basis - a regular purse, and a structured tote that I use to carry my laptop, and a few computer accessories. The tote doesn't have a top so I'm not comfortable carrying my wallet in it.

I think I will be returning, however, in search of something wider. While there is nothing wrong with the bag, I am writing this to help out anyone like me who looks through reviews for the nuances of a product.

After excitedly opening it and filling it with my must-haves, I found it difficult to see what was in each section because it was so deep, but not very wide. The laptop section is in the middle, which does provide the best protection for the laptop, but it makes the dimensions of the bag much less for the other spaces. As someone who starts with the essentials but always accumulates extras, I'm afraid I'll have to empty the bag frequently to find what I'm looking for.

Additionally, it was a little heavy for carrying on my shoulders. It would be fine for the quick trips walking to and from my car, but if I needed to walk around for several minutes it would hurt. A shoulder pad would be a lovely addition to help distribute the weight a little more. The strap for your hand is very sturdy (I didn't remove the plastic but it seems like it would be comfortable), so not an issue if you're not needing the shoulder strap!
