Product came in VERY fast and packed Very well. You can see from the photos that it is shinny. I guess if it bothered me that much I could spray some matte clear coat on it. My house is 250' from the street so it isn't a big deal to me. The greens look clover like. I do have boxwood plants next to my porch and they are different but who cares. These are incredible! I've been looking for 3yrs for these. Normally plants like this are 100 each so I'm more than happy with this purchase. Some areas were a bit flat from packing but are plumping up. There was one gap where you could see the pole but I just turned it. If your expectations are real you will LOVE THESE! My planters are 6" with a 1" roller tray under. The plants are sitting on 2"-2 1/2" of dirt. It hits the plants squarely on the bottom just like a real plant. You should take advantage of the price!! I may buy a set for my back door to. ;)
