i like acupuncture but i hate needles. This product is a remedy for me. The pulsation feeling is exactly the same with acupuncture, but without the pain of inserting a needle. What is best is the pulsation increases when you "reach" an acupuncture point, so the user does not have to guess if the point is correct. The pen is light, easy to use, and most important it works! I would recommend anyone believes in the effect of acupuncture get one and try it yourself.

I've suffered pain in joints and in my back and arms. After reading other views on the Acupuncture Pen I decided to order one to try. The unit takes 1 AA battery which is simple to install. The product came with a booklet that described ehatbto do and not to do with the unit. I found areas which when used with the oen could relieve pain. I found myself able to use the pen conveniently when watching television. When my husband told me that he had back pain, I offered to use the pen on him and he told me that after doing this for a few evenings that his pain had also been relieved. I'd like to get a second one to give to my daughter who also experiences some back and nerve pain as well. Overall this is a convenient to use product that does aid in the relief of some pain discomfort.

The instructions were a little difficult to understand, but I realized I couldn't get it to work because it was user error. Boy does this pen work! Start at a low setting and work your way up. I was told by my doctor that every person feels the currents at different settings. Once I was able to do it correctly, I could feel the therapy working. It feels like a tense unit. I really like it. The pen is sturdy and feels like quality material. Good price!

I purchased this item for relief of migraines. It actually helps!! I have debilitating migraines and often am out of prescription medications due to the amount that I have. This item helps me when I do not have the meds. It offers relief.. I have also used it as a beauty product to help smooth fine lines and plump skin. So far so good

First, let me start off by saying this is a very terrifying looking product. Something you would use to shock Frankenstein back to life. I was very nervous about trying this, but my husband has a tenses unit he uses daily and says he does get pain relief from it. I figured I could get something smaller to be able to target the affected area. I'm glad I took a chance though. The product comes with a book that shows you where the best points for what pain relief you're looking to achieve. Changing the level of intensity is scary, but easily done with one click of a button. I would've preferred if there was some sort of child lock, but if my kids shock themselves touching something they shouldn't be touching, that's how they'll learn their lesson. Win-win! I've been using it on larger areas of my body, arms, legs, torso, lower back, and it does seem to be helping. Of course, the denser the part you're applying treatment to, the higher you need to put the setting.

Item also has contact gel. I haven't used it and have just been using the pen as is. I like being able to know if I'm not positioning it correctly (cause it'll sting a little). Scary at first, but then easily becomes a relief once you get used to what part of your body can handle how much.

Oh. And it's battery operated. Plastic, so not heavy. You can continue to hold it in place.
