No matter what your age may be, trying to screw in those tiny screws on nose pads is a lousy experience. Getting these "push-in" pads make it soooo easy. I put these on my computer glasses and my everyday glasses. They do stay snug.

The tab that fits in the frame is soft and very flexible and resists entering the retaining square. Discovered that pushing it in with the aid of an opened paper clip works. Be careful not to slip as you can easily badly scratch a lens. Cover the lens with the supplied lens cloth while working. Once in place, the nose pad is securely held by the silicon tab.

Very happy with the purchase. I have the type of nose piece where the part that holds the nose pad has two dimples and a part that you can pry open a bit to push-in the nose pad. These nose pads didn't really look the same as the old ones, as I had initially thought. It was the correct length, but the part that you push-in (the post) wasn't the same size as the original and the location of the post wasn't the same as the original also. So, I had concerns that it wouldn't fit right.

Since I was able to pry the nose pad bracket open a bit, I was able to squeeze the new nose pads in. Not sure if I would have been able squish them in if I wasn't able to pry the bracket open a bit. Scratched one lens slightly w/ screwdriver. You may want to take your lenses out if using any tools.

These nose pads are very cushiony which seems to help a lot in terms of relieving pressure from the ear pieces . I have thick glasses so it is very irritating when something is slightly off. These are great at giving extra tolerances. My old nose pads were harder, so any slight bump of the frames against something, everything would be thrown off. No problems so far (about a week) with them popping off as others mentioned.

Pros: I have been wearing eyeglasses for over 50 years and these nose pads are without a doubt the most comfortable I have ever worn.

Cons: As others have noted these eye pads are excruciatingly difficult to install. It took me over half an hour to get them in. I finally ended up using some dental tools I have for a hobby. I had to hook the stem with one if the picks and pull it into the frame. It took many tries and caused some damage to the eye pads. Fortunately there are 5 pair in the package and the next time I will have a better of idea how to handle it. If anyone knows a better way to install them please let us all know.

Update: I have found an easier and less damaging way to install these, using a pair of small, hobby sized needle-nosed pliers, I am able to squeeze the stems and push them into the frames enough so that they will hold so I can push them the rest of the way in. Not perfect but better than hooking them with pick.
