I needed this handrail to finish off my deck project. My wife and I are in our mid-70's, so I wanted something in addition to the wooden rail rail to actually grab on to. This one is only three feet. This unit is very sturdy, but I feel better that I installed it. Very good value, by the way.

Very sturdy and heavy duty but within 3 days off putting it up outside the end pieces are already showing small rust spots. We are planning on spraying it with a clear rustoleum spray.

Love this handrail; not too difficult to install. The drywall anchors that are provided with the handrail are worthless - didn't work at all! Luckily, I had some others to use that worked great - be warned. Other than that, it looks good and so far, it functions well.

We had to get a stair lift for our home. When we did that we lost our original hand rail for the stairs. I didn't feel it was safe for anybody going up and down the stairs unless there was a rail to use, if necessary. My husband installed it with no problem and it doesn't interfere with the stair lift. It's close to the wall and still gives you a hand rail to hold on to. We're so pleased with this product. Stairs need hand rails for safety, even if you can run up and down them and never use them, they need to be there.
