Seat is very sturdy and easy to install. The install hardware is probably not useful in America made to install into concrete. Great hardware if you have a concrete wall to install it into. Not a problem getting good Stainless Steel hardware to mount the seat. The wood slats are probably Teak I do not know wood but color was close to what the screen shows. The wood slats were oiled at some point but not what we would consider lacquer finishing. I plan to put a waterproof sealer on all of the wood.
