I used these hooks to create a backpack rack for my classroom for my JV softball team. It worked well for about a month and then one of them cracked off. They are built fairly strong, but I guess the back is hollow and the material is too thin to stand up to 20 lb backpacks and teenagers. I would buy these again for personal use. But I am going to get thicker steel or iron hooks to replace the ones on this rack for school.
