I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before writing this. I had been using either the Axe or Dove For Men body scrubbers for years and this is a very different type of scrubber. It took me a few days to get used to it. The first thing I was surprised about is that it's a lot softer and pliable than it looks. My major concern was that since there's really no sponge to absorb water and body wash, how was it going to lather? I was very pleased to discover that it lathers fantastically. I think I actually use less soap as it doesn't get trapped in a sponge but instead is applied to the body when washing. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I like this thing, I like it a lot! We'll see how long it lasts, the manufacturer's claims say about a year. If I get that, that would be pretty amazing. I'd be satisfied and feel I'm getting my monies worth if it was six months. Anyway, in conclusion, it's easy to clean, softer than I thought it would be, lathers very well and I feel clean after my shower. As long as it last for a while, Im a very satisfied customer. ðŸ‘

If you are looking for something to scrub and exfoliate - I don't think this is the proper choice. It works better with bar soaps too. And the back is a good massager. The other side is very soft. I also understand that this silicone scrubbers are more hygienic than loofah. But on scrubbing ability natural loofahs wins.

I ordered two of these items. One for myself, and the other is for my fiancé and we both love these. They are much better than using a loofah in the shower and easy to keep it clean. Will definitely be purchasing these for our boys also.

I ended up purchasing one of these for myself and my teenage daughter over a month ago. They work perfectly fine. The only thing I can think of as a con is that they do not lather as well as a traditional loofah, but there are ways around this.
What I would recommend doing is taking your body wash and putting a little dime size squirt into your hands and do your hard to reach areas like armpits and private areas. Then put your body wash onto silicone scrubber wet it a little bit and wet your hands and aerate it with your fingertips to get a decent lather. Then scrub that on all the areas that you did not get with your hands and then use the scrubber for the areas he did with your hands previously to gently exfoliate.
The reason I suggest doing it this way is because I've tried using just the scrubber 100% of the time and I usually end up having to put another squirt of body wash on it halfway through scrubbing because the lather runs out.
It is very small and portable, very soft, and super easy to rinse out versus a regular loofah. Plus any sanitation method that does not damage silicone makes it super easy to disinfect.
I would purchase this again.
