My Cats LOVE this floppy fish toy, and it can keep them entertained for long stretches of time.
What's great is that the toy is touch-activated, so it starts up when they bump into or walk over it. Another fun play session ensues. The materials are durable enough so that my giant Maine Coon doesn't easily shred the fabric. I thoroughly enjoy watching my cats engage with the floppy fish. I've purchased 5 of these floppy fish - for my cats and for other cat friends as well. The sellers are also super attentive and professional, which added to a great purchase experience.

Potaroma Cat Toys Flopping Wiggling fish, size 10.5". We bought this for our newly adopted stray who is a few months old, very small for his age, and very active. He took to it right away and still enjoys it when we turn it on to catch his attention. What surprised us is that or old, faithful, chubby, lazy cat of 15 years who is too busy sleeping to be bothered with toys walked by it one day and decided to attack and play with it. She still does so I guess that really makes it a winner. I would recommend it. I was hesitant to even consider this because I thought the flopping would frighten the cat (either one) but it doesn't. And even if it isn't turned on they will play with it. My one gripe is the location of the zipper. I supposed it's the best they could do, but it is awkward to get to and unzip but I would still buy it again. At least it doesn't hurt their mouths in that location when they are attacked it with teeth bared and tugging at it. Very good toy and highly recommended.

My cats got this for Xmas and they love it. Why do they sit there and hold it and let the tail slap them repeatedly in the face? Idk but 2 out of 3 cats do that & it makes all the humans laugh. It's worth the price just for the tears of laughter watching them stalk it, stare at it, purposely set it off then run away like they just pulled a fire alarm. It's USB rechargeable and seems to have a decent battery life. It's a nice size so a cat can really get in there and do the rabbit kick thing and SO FAR seems pretty durable. The cats literally sit on it while the motor is making the tail go back and forth and my kids mess with it too a little and so far the motor is still going strong. My only complaint is that the zipper is a piece of crap...it's like a fabric zipper you'd see on a skirt, very delicate & somewhat difficult to zip/unzip. It's not a deal breaker tho

We have a one year old cavapoo dog and we decided to get this for her. She's a destroyer of all things and she's very good at finding the weak spots (like ripping the feet off of those hopping toys.) We even made a bet for how long we thought it would take to succumb to her destructive ways. I'm happy to say that this thing is still going! It's actually still in one piece and basically looks like new too. It's lived through one charge and is on its second. It does shut off when she finally wears herself out but otherwise this thing is in her mouth everywhere she goes. Even to our bed at night (it's not loud so it doesn't wake us up if it goes off.) It can be switched off if you want but we just leave it on because we're lazy and she just loves it so much. I think our two older dogs like it too because it keeps her puppyish mouth from chewing on them. The look of the fish is great and the fabric is too. It's even lasting through her chewing on its fins. I would definitely get this again. If you do get it, when you charge it make sure the red light glows on the flip-flopper mechanism. Our cavapoo had to play with the fish without the mechanism in it for a while longer than necessary because we didn't get the charging plug pushed in all the way. She still carried it everywhere.

First off the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars rather than 5 is because I bought a bird toy I believe from the same company and the bird toy was insanely impressive. This fish though does flop around and gets your cats attention. You can add catnip to the toy if you please as well. The only concern I have if my cat bites to hard if the hard battery will hurt him and his teeth. There isn't alot of padding around the hard battery but I think it should be ok as no one had made any reviews saying otherwise. I would buy this item again and would recommend.
