The carrier is well built & spacious for my 19 lb schnauzer. It also came with extra travel accessories that you would need when traveling with a pet.
I ordered the large grey carrier with the intention of using it to fly with him after Christmas, but decided to order a different carrier with a flexible height for that purpose as I wasn't sure that the carrier could be made to fit under the seat in front of me & still allow Winston to be comfortable because I didn't want to take the chance of the airline saying "No".
For regular travel, the carrier would be amazing as he fit in it well & seemed comfortable.
It is fully ventilated & the zippers appear to be of good quality & is significantly lighter than the plastic carriers I already have.
PS: If you do fly with your pet in the cabin, the space under aisle seats are significantly wider than the window seats & different planes have different under seat clearance so definitely check with the airline you are flying with to get the specifics. I flew Delta & they were great. To fly Winston it cost $95, but was much better than the alternative of a 15 hour drive😬. Also there is a limit to how many animals that can travel in the cabin, so let the airline know as soon as possible.

I met someone at our vet recently and she had this awesome carrier. We exchanged info and I quickly ordered it. I've been using it ever since. My cat is between 12-13 lbs and travels easily in this. It is soft sided, and while the bottom is stiff, it's a bit flexible. So, you may want to take that into consideration if you have a heavier pet. It's very roomy, the construction is truly top notch. All the seams and zippers work perfectly.
