Did everything I wanted it to do better than the axxcess harness. To be specific, the reverse output didn't work on the axxcess but did work on this unit. Aftermarket reverse cam so didn't get to use the harness for that. Also much easier to "program" than the axxcess harness. Flip a switch or 2 and you're done.

Totally worth the money. My son bought a really expensive version and it was nothing but trouble. The PAC RP5-GM31 was install in minutes and works perfectly. Money well spent

the unit works great, however, I did bypass 3 of the speakers through the unit. Too many people (on Google search) say it cuts out at high volume. steering wheel controls work great once you program them (android head unit). reason for 4 stars is the speaker for chimes etc., could have had a better-sounding tone and more volume. if you have never or rarely installed a deck with one of these have someone who knows what they're looking at install this, I'm guessing that's why some can't get steering wheel controls or chimes to work. over it took about 1-1.5 hr to install.
