Key features

• •RESILIENT GROUNDCOVER: The Parsoni Juniper is an attractive evergreen ground cover packed with aromatic foliage that features hues of blue and green. On average a fully mature plant will reach 2-3' H x 5-6' in width depending on its growing conditions. The needle-like foliage gives this plant a feathery appearance from a distance and is a feature that has made this juniper plant so popular.
• •JUNIPER BONSAI: Considered a very hardy conifer, the Juniper is a non-flowering tree that makes an excellent choice for bonsai because it is so easy to prune and train. Although not a popular choice by bonsai enthusiast with the proper technique it does just as well as many other junipers. This Juniper is not cut in bonsai form, but you can shape it into a bonsai tree.
• •MAINTENANCE: Caring for the Parsoni Juniper is easy, but it requires the right environment to promote growth. The tree does well with wiring as it will bend into styles easily. Try not to remove all growing tips simultaneously when pruning, as the leaves may turn brown and the whole plant may decline. Instead, trim dense foliage areas with small, sharp pruning shears.
• •USDA ZONES: Parsoni Juniper is hardy in zones 4-8 and once mature is quite tolerant to drought conditions. During this period, water plants every 2-4 days and then once per week. Juniper plants live and thrive in heat, humidity, drought, polluted/urban environments, and salty coastal environments.
• •Sunlight Exposure: Full Sun To Part Shade
• •POTTED PLANT: Ships as a 2.5 Quart potted plant with soil from the Alabama Gulf Coast. This plant is unavailable to ship to Hawaii, California, and Alaska. This juniper is a nonflowering plant.
