Hornets Worst Nightmare....

Had an unseen basketball sized hornets nest at the top of a second story window. The bee killer spray cans would not reach. No exterminators replied to my calls. So I purchased this pole and a spray can attachment. The pole was sweet. Lightweight, easy to carry, easy to extend and lock, long and reasonably steady at full extension. No more bee's! I love this pole!

I purchased this pole to use with my McCauley Gutter Pro cleaning took. If you intend to buy the said tool then I highly recommend this pole to you to go with it.
As you can see, this house, 2-storeys high and I am able to reach my gutter with the tool attached while keeping both feet on the ground. I can extend the pole one more segment but it was no longer needed as you can see here (unless it is a horrible clog, of course).
I am so happy I will be able to clean my gutter over and over as needed without fear of going to the roof ever again.
I can also replace the attached tool with a squeegee and clean my windows with it too.

It has an ergonomic top to push from, a 4 prong claw, a foot piece to step on to assist getting it into the ground, as well as it is the part that closes the claw. And this one, unlike many others I looked at, has a release lever!
This works exactly as it states!
You center it over the weed, push and step it into the ground, and you tilt it TOWARD the foot piece as you lift up. As you do, it clamps down on the weed, so it's getting the weed, roots and all! And the cherry on top, as stated, this one has a RELEASE lever! Brilliant!
I'm new at weeding, so if I didn't center it, only part of the weed came up. Not a problem! If that happens, just give it another go! Re-center, repeat, and you'll have the weed, roots and all! Literally, center, push & step down, tilt toward the step, and lift up! Have your bucket or bag near, push the release lever, and it's in the bag!

I'm impressed with the build and rigidity, and it works great with the screw-on angle-head we got for it. The angle-tool head did want to rotate on the shaft thread, but a power-drill and a screw through tool and shaft put an end to that. We have some professional arborist extension tools that cost 5+ times this, but they are overkill for most painting and cleaning tasks and weigh more than twice as much. I don't think you will be unhappy with this purchase.
One more thing, not about the pole but about the packaging, which was a bit excessive - maybe just put a tag on it instead of a 4ft x 2ft x 4" box? Product was in perfect condition, just embarrassing container.
