I got it as a birthday present. I really liked it's usability and well thought design. The transparent pocket on the outside is best to keep ID and show it. I can put other docuements like insurance cards also behind my driver's ID. The card pocket which I can pull out with string is useful for extra cards.

The steel clip for holding bills works well, we can adjust its tension based on usage.

As I am writing the review after 6 months, I observed that there were some black marks of usage: around the card boundary and other most touched placed. The area where it folds has some strain marks as well. But, I think those are property of genuine lather.

Overall a good buy for a gift

I'm loving this wallet. I also got a cheap knock off version of one of those fancy and expensive carbon fiber or metal micro wallets, see pictures. I had a really had time deciding, but for $10 on sale for the knock off I got both to compare. Two pics show t same items in one wallet and then the other to compare empty to full.

Observations: You can not fill any of the pockets more than the card limit. This is important. If you use the ID or the outer card holder like I do and if you fill the inside pockets too full it makes it difficult to remove cards. This makes sense as it fills up all the slack in that side. Some people complain about this issue and that worried me, but it was an easy fix to just spread out you cards. No no issues. Also thickness is about the same when the same items are placed in either wallet. I do not think this wallet is any less well made than the similar ones in the $100 range, but that is a guess. I'd pay that much if they were made in the USA/Europe, but honestly all are made in China.

Currently showing 2x IDs, 3x flat cards, 1x raised number card, 2x paper business cards, 1x folded Menards credit slip = about 2x paper cards, 5 bills. I'd only do 2 more flat cards, one on either side. Any more will make it difficult to remove ID and main credit card on outer pockets.

I keep the paper items and 2 cards in the pull tab slot. This is similar to three flat cards. It's easy to get my ID out. Less so if one more. Very hard if two more. One card in each inner pocket.

Pros: Seems well made. Nice packaging. Warranty. Easy to get cards. No issue with bills hanging outside as I read on some reviews. Not hard to get cards out if spread out. If you ever keep paper cards, receipts, punch cards or credit slips I prefer this over the carbon fiber wallet. Bills wont get beat up while in pocket unlike other wallet.

Cons: The green is less green than it seemed online, but not a deal breaker at all. Bigger than carbon fiber wallet.

Knock off carbon fiber wallet observations: It's so small. It is harder to get a single card out, especially if it's not the top one. If in the middle than you'd need to take them all out basically. For the expensive brand some people complained that it seemed like cheap plastic. I assumed this with carbon fiber as I believe they still have to put it in a resin. The inner layer is definitely plastic on the knock off. Elastic seems secure enough for now. Its kind of odd how the cash makes a bump out despite the thickness being the same on either wallet. But if you want to keep your stuff as small as possible for like say dancing or when skiing than this is a great option. Also if you could get wet than this is better than leather. Overall, if you don't take cards out often, don't ever keep receipts in your wallet, and size is the most important factor than a wallet like the knock off might be for you. If the aesthetics and perhaps luxury feel of leather if more important and easy of card removal than get the Serman.

Bought this wallet in 2019 and have loved it. Love having my license showing on the outside, money clip is really good, and the exterior card access for your main card is also good. The issue comes into play as sometimes I need an extra 1-2 cards, and have had to put them behind existing cards in the internal credit card slots by the money. These have stretched out, and I have caught a couple cards almost falling out the last year. Turns out this must have happened a few weeks ago too as someone started using one of my cards and found it was no longer in my wallet. It would be nice if they could solve for this by either adding one more card slot or a piece of elastic maybe would help that wraps around the whole wallet to sinch it together more tightly after the leather ages.

Love this wallet! Wanted a smaller wallet and looked at what seemed like 100's. Kept coming back to this one. Nice quality, soft leather. I only have 6 cards and it works great for that amount. If you have 10 or more you might want to try another one. I think it would be hard to get them out with that many. I have had 15 bills in it and it holds that many well. I usually have less than 10. Great size, fits well in front or side pocket. It is so nice to no longer be sitting on my wallet. Great price too. If you are looking for a minimalist wallet I highly recommend this one. When this one wears out I will definitely replace it with another one just like it.

Thicker than I thought it would be but it is still smaller than my trifold I used to have. I was able to get all 9 of my cards in it and I like the pull strap. Be careful though-because like others have said-it does scratch easily. My fingernail put a scratch in it just trying to slide one of my cards out. I used some olive oil on it and it is much less visible but you can still see it. Sliding the drivers license out was difficult at first but having no issues now. I am happy with the purchase
