So I said phooey and bought the six pack. Amazon Commercial Dust pans.
No regret. they are nice. solid feeling metal tube upright with a curved comfortable hand grip.
Locks into position so its not tilting when you don't want it to. nice LARGE heavy duty red plastic pan. the base of the handle latches to keep the pan horizontal until you push down and forward to unlatch it allow the pan to swivel upright when you want it too.
feels solid. nice and large. good transition tab (the black rubber bit on the front lip) so things tend to go in and not under the pan.
6 is probably a lifetime supply and I could buy 40 of the cheap ones for that price but No more hassle? worth every penny. no question.
