Does what it says it will do

It's a great product that does exactly what it says it will do. In my case, I have a 7'x10' confined outdoor patio with a 12' high ceiling, three surrounding walls and a 4 foot pony wall along the 4th side. So it is open air only on one side above four feet. We used to have our heater set right in the middle of it. That worked really well except the heater was right in the middle of everything, so there was no place for a table and it was visually distracting when talking to someone seated across from you. I purchased this in hopes of moving the heater up against the 4' pony wall and using the heat reflector to keep the heat directed towards the patio. It works wonderfully. You can put your hand on the outside of the reflector and feel that there is almost no increase in temperature higher than the outside air. All that heat is going somewhere, which appears to be in the direction the product says it goes. In my case, I actually think this heats up my space better than when we just had the heater in the middle of the space. Wind is not an issue where I have it placed, so if it is where you're at, I would take precautions to keep it out of the wind.

1st off this unit does exactly what it claims to do! It effectively redirects and improves the amount of heat delivered by your traditional patio heaters. I previously used the patio heaters for the past 5 years and in order to be comfortable we always had to run them on "full" or near "full" power - after installing these reflectors "full" power is TOO HOT and you MUST turn down the setting or risk personally overheating (at lease according to my wife). So mission accomplished these are super additions if you want some more control for your directed heating needs and it does allow you to run the heater at a reduced level to achieve comfortable outdoor heat.
One warning - install the unit on the opposite side of the heater controls - I installed my reflector 90 digress off rom the patio controls and melted the plastic control knob on the heater controls - the amount of heat redirected was powerful enough to melt plastic - so I recommend installing the reflector 180 degrees opposite of the heater controls to avoid melting the control knob.
I'd give these a 5 star rating if they were more reasonably priced. At their current price point they are a bit pricy for the amount of material involved in the product. but I guess you'll make it up in fuel savings pretty quickly.

These are great! My patio heater throws out so much more heat now! I am on a much lower setting than without. I purchased two to get halfway around the heater, but I figure it will pay for themselves in the future in propane savings.
