Got this to temporarily hold my mom's ashes until we can scatter them. The urn is pretty, the lid fits well. I was able to transfer her ashes in the same bag they were placed in from the funeral home. Very easy to use.

The media could not be loaded. I had a passing in my family recently and I needed an urn, as they were being cremated. The ones that the funeral home showed us were very expensive and truthfully very lackluster in style. They said to shop around and I found this Urn, and I immediately knew. the pictures online dont do it justice. It came well wrapped, with a velvet cover as well, and it was just so pretty. It's white in color but looks pearlized, and the details in the design were so well made. Its much heavier than I imagined (good quality) and I just knew it was the perfect resting place for my loved one. I hope this review helps anyone having to deal with a passing, and needing to buy an Urn. You will not be disappointed. I wish you all the strength you'll need through such a difficult time.

Bought this urn for my mother's remains. It was well made, the lid screwed on which I loved since it will keep moisture out and it was beautiful! My mom would have loved it!
Porcelain not Marble

The description says the urn is marble. It is not. It appears to be porcelain with a white glaze. The wall of the urn is thin. The lid did not screw on easily, but we managed to get it closed and tightened. I probably would not have gone with this urn but our granddaughter preferred it instead of a bronze urn we also purchased. The opening was wider than the bronze one, making it easier to insert the ashes without compromising the bag. It is also shorter and wider than the other urn and gave us peace of mind that it would fit in the 10.75x10.75x10.75 columbarium niche. Our loved one was about 170 lbs. So there was room to spare inside.
