Wore it twice playing softball and sweated in it so it got saturated two times. Washed it by hand and noticed one rib side pad came apart and it's now like a bunch of popcorn loose in the one side. Apparently not made well to sweat in it and play softball.

So my chest is 42 and im 5.11 , waist is 34 195pounds. The Asian xxl fits perfectly not tight more like a normal large shirt. Im a mtb . Pads are in a good spot probably more for a side impact and a little for a above impact such as low tree branchs. If you fell face first at your shoulder you wont be protected at the front part of your shoulder . It goes from top of shoulder and down side of arm.. I fell a couple months ago mtb and had a semi tear on my rotator cuff,. This and elbow pads would have helped . But it was a freak accident and i haven't found anything except a full body suit that looked like it would have saved me. This was second closest and affordable. Good quality but for the price fit was more important to me.

I love this product but was disappointed because I thought I had ordered a xxl youths ( boys ) vest , it said boys in the basket page , very confusing because I think it said mens in the add , soI ordered wrongly , as a result my vest which I really need for playing walking football is too big for me , ( I have had 3 rib injuries in the space of a few months and was really excited about getting some protection so I could play the game I love at 65 yrs old )
