Decent numpad once I modified it
ScW✓ Verified Purchase•July 19, 2023
Stock: the numpad is just *way* too light. It feels like it's going to blow over. The stabilizers and switches are crazy rattly as well. Mine arrived, one of the LEDs was out (on the num key). But I'm not that into LED so I didn't bother with a return.
Modifications: I had some spare steel/zinc washers. I JB Welded them into the bottom case to add approximately 50g of weight to the base case. This really helped the feel. I also added some foam to the case above the washers. I then de-soldered all the switches and lubed the stabilizers. Then soldered on some silent box brown switches I had and topped it all with some Akko cherry profile (Macaw colorway) keycaps. Since these were all things I already had, the modification didn't really cost me anything but time. And I'm pretty happy with the result.
If you're looking for a USB-C removable cable numpad that you can practice your keyboard modding skills on (soldering et al), this might be for you. Stock, I feel like it might be too light and there may be slightly better choices, especially if a removable USB-C cable isn't that important to you. As a platform for experimenting with mods, however, it's very nice.

Easy plug and play number pad. Works great and is easy to set up. Has that perfect mechanical keyboard sound.
Solid little numpad
Lon Koenig✓ Verified Purchase•June 3, 2023
Pros:
Feels solid
Decent keys
Num toggle has an indicator
Cons:
Key legends are very hard to read as a numpad. They include the non-num legends on the keycaps. But as a number pad, the numbers are way too small and inconsistently placed.
I will probably just pop some different keycaps on there.

Excellent Value!

First things first, I always consider the price in terms of what I am paying for a given product in relation to the overall value/rating. That being said, this is the most inexpensive mechanical numeric keypad that I was able to purchase on
Amazon as of 5/24/2020. I only use the numeric keypad when I am working which involves entering in a lot of numbers generally between 4-6 hours a day.
Please Note:
I specifically purchased this numeric keypad and a TKL keyboard with the intent of modding and lubing them so with that being said let's get to it."¨
Here are a couple of things that stood out right away for me.
1. I noticed that the keypad was not leveled. When I hit the escape key, the bottom right hand side of the keypad would lift up quite a bit.
2. I noticed a prominent pinging noise when using the keypad. The pinging noise bothers me, but considering the price this can be easily overlooked.
3. While I appreciate the fact that they provided any type backlighting, at this price point I would have much preferred a simple white LED over the blue LED. There is a switch on the back to turn off the blue LED if you wish to do so.
Mods:
Lubed the switches
Added o-rings
Changed the keycaps
Sanded down the upper right rubber pad to level out the numeric keypad
Painted keypad case white satin finish
With the modifications, this is an EXCELLENT value. The numeric keypad has a nice, smooth typing action while being quiet at the same time. The gray and white keycaps along with the white satin finish make it uniquely classy. Overall very happy with keypad :-)
