This product arrived exactly as pictured. The mats are of quality construction with high quality graphics on each side. The tube contains three mats with different images on each side, for the promised total of six battle maps, plus dry erase markers, a nice eraser, and plastic straightening tools that negate any of the usual issues with having to weigh down the corners.
With the quality, versatility, and simple storage, definitely worth the money.

These are very high quality, and I really like the tube they come in. It's nice and sturdy, and decorated so you can use it as the actual carrying case. They write and erase well. The included straightening things also work well, but I did also give it a little encouragement to flatten out with some glasses on the corners, but it isn't really necessary. The print quality is also good, and it has a nice array of potential landscapes, as well as more generalized terrains.

Overall I'm really pleased with this purchase. The reason I'm giving this four out of five stars is just because I'm a little picky, but let's start with the positives.
The mats are pretty big, offering ample space for drawing out encounters, and even if you want more space you can just have another mat prepared. They come with four of these nice plastic strips that you can place on the mat to hold it flat, which is great since they tend to roll up after being in the carrying tube. The quality is nice and it's easy to erase if you do it right away.
It also comes with a free dice set. It's pretty basic so I gave it away, but it's still nice.
One thing I don't like is that the markers are a little cheap. I understand that it's not the main part of the product, but it's still a little disappointing. If you get these you'll probably want to go out and buy some good quality dry erase markers. You have to shake these ones up after drawing just a few lines with them.
The other thing, and this is me being picky, is that some of the mats seem a little too similar in appearance.

I decided to buy these for my first campaign that I am DMing. My biggest concern was whether the markers would be easily visible on the darker mats, but the black always shows up very well, and so do some of the other colors depending on the mat. It's even easier to see the colors show up in real life than in these photos. I think I'll definitely be able to utilize each of the mats with at least the black marker and have no problems.
Additionally, the marker is very easy to erase with the included eraser. The tube that all the mats come in is super nice and will make the mats easily portable as well. The dice set was also a nice touch :)
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a first time set!! Veterans might know more than me, but I am very happy with the product.
