For some reason when I was contemplating buying this product, I wasn't able to see any of the posted reviews although I could see the products rating was 5 stars with a couple thousand reviews, so I bought the product regardless.
So my daughter is 3 years old but she is [proportionately] huge--like she wears size 7/8 clothes and the smaller sized kids helmets were getting too small so I bought this one since it was listed as 8+.
When the straps are tightened as much as they can, it is still huge for my daughter's head and she has a quite large head. In fact, if you loosened the straps, it would be too big for her dad's head lol. So look at the sizing that other buyers posted in their comments, because it is a quite large helmet. Like for an adult size head basically.
Other than the sizing, I think it's a good quality product and my daughter likes that it lights up.
