I bought this for weighing myself. I'm getting older and I mounted the display at eye level which makes it much easier. I also like the fact that the package weighing surface is non-skid with a diamond pattern aluminum. I always felt that the glass top units are too slick if your feet has the slightest amount of moisture.
I will also use it for weighing packages and parts. It makes it awful easy since it has a tare button. Highly recommend this.

Good for smaller package weights. The weight does not stay on the screen if you move the package, so larger packages are a nuisance to deal with.
