This set comes with everything you need to get started. The colors are vibrant and easy to use. The light works really well and is perfectly timed for each duration. The colors were smaller than expected, but I won't be using every color that often. I would recommend purchasing another base, top and matte coat if you will be switching colors a lot. Would definitely recommend for someone that doesn't want to pay full price at the salon!

I'd give this kit 3.5 to 4 stars. Most of it is awesome. It includes a lot of different tools, paint colors, glitter, oils, gems, instructions, etc. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is because of the lamp. It's very low quality and takes FOREVER to cure even one coat of paint. My base coat took 7.5 minutes to cure. Later coats are 10+ per hand and per coat. I might recommend this kit if you need a lot of items to get started on your own, but you should consider buying a better quality lamp separately.

Tip: when using the base coat, make sure you use enough that the nail looks smooth and cure as soon as possible. As long as that base coat looks good, the rest will too. Only thing I don't like is how small the bottles are, but you can buy larger ones if you like a color enough. The top coat is amazing.
The pictures are outdoor and indoor so you can see the color looks great in both lighting!

Over all I am very happy with this. Good solid materials, roomy UV lamp and very pretty polishes - with other assorted tools.
My only complaint is that one of the bottles spilled all over the others, and while typically this wouldn't be a big deal as I could just clean the bottles off, these nail polishes are pretty small, so almost all of the blue polish that spilled is wasted.

Nice selection of colors and is easy to use correctly. Polish is kind of thick but with practice it got easier to use. Have only kept on for about 2 weeks as my longest usage before changing, but that's because I'm liking trying out all the colors. I could see it being able to last multiple weeks at a time.
