As my chalk block has dwindled away over time I knew I had to consider what my next chalk option was going to be. I have asthma and chalk dust is a trigger for my condition, so a low dust option like my block served me well for some time. The only problem was that options are limited in block form. There are so many more options for people who use loose chalk- but loose chalk in a chalk bag isn't good for me. So I began to get curious about chalk balls. Chalk balls can be filled with any sort of loose chalk someone wants, so there are more options but they are also low dust keeping the chalk from creating a massive dusty fallout. I'm so pleased to have one now. Even though the current state of the world makes climbing impossible for me, I'm using this chalk ball with my hang board at home. The friction is great yet the chalk itself feels silky. I really appreciate everything about it. Glad to have mine on hand now!

I like this due to the sole fact that it's refillable. As a climber, there's nothing more annoying than noticing your chalk ball getting smaller but not being able to refill it. I've gone through so many Black Diamond shots, I really haven't learned my lesson. The material of the chalk ball is really soft, unlike some brands where it's almost canvas-like.
I've only ever used Black Diamond, Mammut and Metolius chalk but this chalk seems to be decent quality. My hands sweat a BUNCH when I'm climbing so I'm excited to see how it performs outdoors.
