My brake light went out on my Cadillac XTS 2016 and I called the dealership and they told me I needed the whole assembly. The Cost was $900 to replace, I looked it up and saw it was most likely a bulb. Searched it on Amazon and purchased this bulb and now I'm good money! I looked up a video on installation on Youtube and did it myself. Saved a lot of money not listening to the Cadillac dealership and doing a quick Google and Amazon search.
Did not fit the new replacement receptacle.

Perfect fit for tail lights. 2013 xts Platinum. Don't be fooled by the dealer. Reach up under the car twist.. and unplug. Install bulb before reconnecting the plug. Takes a little effort, but you save $300+ dollars... the dealer will rip you off..!
