first one fell off its magnetic holder - which stayed on the wall

This is wonderful for inside closets. My only complaint was that the first one I bought somehow disconnected from its plate attached to the inside door frame of my coat closet. It fell onto the floor and the switch/sensor broke. That's my only reason for not giving this 5 stars.
The replacements have been working fine, but a little paranoia has me occasionally pressing the plate to make sure it doesn't fall.
It's bright, it's reliable, and works great at what it does. I have placed the 2nd one inside my bedroom walk-in closet. It works great when my hands are too full to hit the inside light switch.

honestly, this product is a great value for what it is, but that doesn't make it a great product overall.
good:
- color temp and brightness are exactly what i'd expect.
- they're small, the magnetic attachment is nifty (in theory, more later)
- usb-c rechargability is way better than buying replacement batteries
bad:
- the motion sensors work when i expect them to maybe 40% of the time. sometimes i wave a hand right in front of them with no response, other times i'm walking across the room (~9-13' away and they sense this motion). sometimes one turns on and the other doesn't, but it's not consistent which one works
- the supplied mounting hardware is minimal and in theory great. unfortunately the double sided tape only worked on one so I had to use an adhesive for other metal strip, took some fussing and makes the install more permanent than i was hoping
- when i reached out to the seller for troubleshooting support they literally just told me to return to amazon directly, which tells you something about their level of ownership. i should note that their response was prompt and courteous however.
overall: i love the product in theory, and the designers have made some thoughtful decisions. unfortunately you get what you pay for and it is cheap in the truest sense of the word. if you don't mind a cheap solution, you maybe pleasantly surprised.

On the first day I installed these my husband and I agreed almost immediately this was what our kitchen was missing! We noticed right away how nice they were when overhead lights were off, but even when they were on it was clear to see how much they made a difference. I regularly host 12+ people for long weekends and the kitchen gets a lot of traffic so we will see how they hold up to that level of use, but at least for the day-to-day they are exactly as expected.

These light strips are chargeable and don't take batteries. Perfect. I had a light strip under my counter in a kind of dark spot and it took 6 batteries and you could not tell if the light was on or off most of the time. Needless to say the batteries drained quickly. Not good. This light is pretty bright and I have used it for a couple of days now. The best feature is that after 20 seconds and no motion it turns itself off. I love it. I might install another one under the same cabinets. I already have under cabinet lighting, but it still has some dark spots so this takes care of that problem and no wires required. Yeah!
So far these have worked exactly as I hoped

I've been using these lights for a few days and so far they've been amazing. They're smaller than I thought they'd be (which is a good thing) and they're the perfect brightness for my needs. I'm using them as closet lights as well as under cabinet lights. As a closet light, these are flawless. The second I open the closet door, the light turns on. Absolutely no issue. As for under cabinet lights, again no real issue here. The lights turn on when I come relatively close. Under my cabinets has about a 2 inch recess, and even with that recess, the motion detection works fine.
My only gripe with these is that they automatically turn off after about 1 minute, even if you're still moving around the room. For closets this is not really a problem as I'm usually in and out. For under cabinet lighting it can be a bit annoying that they turn off then back on after a minute of walking around the kitchen.
I can't speak to battery life yet since I've only been using them for a few days, but the fact that they charge via USB rather than needing batteries is great. Installation is simple, as long as you don't mind permanently sticking the magnetic strip to your surface (I'm sure you can pry it off with force if needed, but you'll need to remove the adhesive as well).
All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. For the price, these have been fantastic!
