Good Product but Horrible Shipping/Packaging

This was a gift from my grandson. It was not packaged in a protective box. A shipping label was stuck on the product box and it was sent. When it arrived, it was torn and beat up. Luckily it still worked.
Good alternative to toddlers with tablets

I bought this for my 2 year old in hopes of avoiding getting her an actual tablet. She watches enough tv as it is, and doesn't need more screentime, but all toddlers seem to have one... Anyway, this seems like a great alternative. At only 2, she's a little impatient about waiting for the the person talking to explain the next activity it wants her to do, but she's getting the hang of it. She loves the baby animal book.
That being said, we seem to have gotten a faulty product from Amazon. Every time she remotely bumps or moves it, it either resets the activity she's on, or turns itself off. We've changed the batteries twice, and that doesn't help. Hoping LeapFrog can send a new one or something, because the product is made to be mobile so she can being it with her places, and it completely defeats its usefullness if it has to be held completely still to be used (would make a great toy for car rides otherwise).

I love the idea of this book. It is educational and my child loves it, but somethings you are not told, 1- you need a computer to download the books 2- its HARD to find the books, and when you do the price gouging is ridiculous 3- there is little to no support from the company for purchasing the books. If you find books, they cost almost as much if not more than the unit itself, when in actuality, leapfrog says the books are about 7.99. I have yet to find any below $12. So for those reasons don't waste your money.
