I did the research and made the best purchase with this watch

This is a great watch for fitness. The heart rate is more responsive than my Garmin Vivoactive and my previous Samsung watch, and my previous Polar watch. When I say responsive - I mean when I lift weights and my heart rate goes up to 140 at peak it charts it. When I sit down to rest it drops down to 80 or 90 and charts it. After my workout, I can see where my really hard sets were and figure what I was doing at that time. Contrast that my previous watches - a lot of time they would lag and my readout afterwards looked like a wave instead of a spiky path.

The watch has a lot of workouts. It appears they mostly track heart rate, speed snf distance which is fine for me. The watches that track specific weightlifting movements have been more of a distraction than anything. If specific apps are your thing - you really can't add much to the watch for apps.

The look is very nice and professional. I went with the green one and I love the brushed nickel metal and the shiny screen. The band isn't luxury but it isn't orange or red either so I can wear it to work and it adds to my appearance instead of distracts from it.

This was s good purchase.
Good smart watch for sport activities

I have had the watch for just one week, used if for Running and cycling, so far has worked very well.
Positives- It has a lot of functions to assist with workouts speed, pace , cadence, etc GPS seems to be accurate within 2 meters, Heart monitor and health app seems to work well, it gives plenty of information on workout performance.
Negatives- Heath app initially seems to take a while to download in my case it froze, Cure was to delete it and start again , which sorted the issue. other issue is to make sure compass is working and GPS sees all satellites before you start your work out otherwise GPS can be inaccurate. Also with IOS the functions aren't as good as Android ie no music download, which isn't an issue for me.
Conclusion: I have completed several Firmware updates and now have weather forecast, sunrise , moonrise info plus additional watch faces, more then you will ever need! aesthetically ( I have the green strap version) it looks good. Yes I would recommend this watch.
Exactly what I was looking for neat product

Only used it for a few days so far but the 14 day battery life is fantastic. The watch and app cover a wide range of health and sports functions. One of the best is continual recording of heart beats and the O2 function. Neat compass function too and 4gb of storage for music. Seems good at sleep tracking as well, even showing naps.
My wife has an Apple Watch 5 that is all good as well but requires nightly charging and cost twice as much. It is also far more complicated requiring study of the manual to get its best use. The GT2e is very intuitive with easily accessed menus and settings.
Physically the watch is large but not overly heavy. The band is flexible perforated rubber allowing air circulation. The size allows a bright large screen. Not sure they are available in the US but it interfaces with scales and other devices to support weight and body fat tracking.
In summary it's a good buy with long battery life and 90 % of the Apple Watch function at a moderate price.
great battery! simple but useful features

The most remarkable aspect is the duration of the battery. It longs 8-12 days. The behaviour for the features related to the integration with the smartphone, are not very advanced in comparison with other brands (Samsung?) but the interfaces are easy to use, there are no complexities. I hope the software updates get to improve these details, such as the notifications that you cannot delete by one, you need to scroll them all down and then you get to the "delete" option. Detalis like these, none to stress.
Other very important aspects to remark are about health and sports tracking. I loved them. The information you get from the watch or Huawei Health is good enough.
You can change the wathc face directly from the watch, but if you want a new face will have to search it from the app. That part is a very slow because they behave like the faces are not stored in the phone, it seems like always downloading, even if you have already installed before.
Great budget fitness tracker! Some minor inconveniences.

Love this watch! Battery life is amazing, tracking is accurate, and alerts are spot on.

The minor issues I have so far:
- You need an android device to manage the music.
- weather does not seem to update unless you open the Huawei Health app.
- it doesn't seem to auto track exercise if you forget to select a workout tracking option, meaning it doesn't count the workout but it still tracks the activity (ie steps).
- the altimeter does not seem to be accurate or get information from GPS sources.

The positives definitely make up for any minor issues though. Heart rate, stress tracking, sleep tracking, all seem very accurate. Incoming messages and call notifications are easy to see. The touch screen is responsive when wet.

Love this watch overall, hoping some updates will make it even better!
