Ok, I have always loved using hair sticks. I got these for my wedding party, and I love them! I tried a couple out and they work as expected. Some of my girls won't be able to use them by themselves bc the have VERY VERY thick hair and these aren't quite long enough for them, but overall super impressed at the quality and sturdiness

If you've shopped for any time on Amazon, you know what you see is not always what you get and every once in a while, you are totally surprised. This was one of those purchases for me. When I bought these, I fully expected them to be made out of cheap chopstick wood, poorly sanded, inconsistenly sized, stained and quality. I expected each one to get caught in my hair and have to be broken in order to get it out. I expected at least two to get wet and disintegrate in my hand and a few to get dropped on the floor and break into toothpick size pieces and above all, I expected the stain to rub off on my hands, forehead and scalp, maybe even causing an allegeric reaction, but none of those things have happened. Each one is sturdy, well made and attractive. I've had no problems with splitting, breaking or other quality issues. I use them every day and can't say enough good things about them, I just wish I would stop misplacing them.
